How to resize a screenshot for social media
Every platform prefers a different shape. If you upload a screenshot as it is, it may get cropped. ShotBloom keeps your whole screenshot and fills the space around it with your background.
Step by step with ShotBloom
- Open the screenshot in ShotBloom and click the sparkles button.
- Choose Ratio.
- Pick Square (1:1), 4:5, Stories (9:16), 16:9, 1.91:1, 4:3 or 3:2.
- Choose a background so the extra space looks intentional.
- Click Done & Copy and post it.
Tips
- Use 1:1 or 4:5 for feeds, 9:16 for Stories and 16:9 or 1.91:1 for link posts.
- The X Post, LinkedIn and Story templates set the ratio for you.
