How to add a background to a screenshot on a Mac
A plain screenshot can look unfinished in a post, a slide or a product page. Adding padding, a background and a soft shadow makes it look polished. With ShotBloom it takes one click.
Step by step with ShotBloom
- Capture with ⇧⌘2 or open any image in ShotBloom.
- Click the sparkles button to open Beautify.
- Pick a template for a finished look, or choose Background to pick a colour, gradient, mesh or your own image.
- Adjust Margin, Shadow and Corners until it looks right.
- Choose a Ratio such as Square or 16:9 if you are posting it.
